Hi,

Close to nightmare today. 15 min before livestream I got suddendly "access violtion" error and application forced to close several times. Tried to reboot, no help. I had about 20 molules open. 6 cameras, overlays, players etc.

Every time when opening WB I got same "access violation" error and forced to close. WB run about 15 seconds and then error. I unmouonted every deviced without help.

I had to close every modules one by one. 1-2 modules within 15 sek and then really fast "save profile" + exit. I can't tell witch module was that "crappy one".

So maybe a bug? Luckily found that own resolution but that was close to nightmare. Earlier this week used excactly same devices and modules with great success. Strange and scary...

Win7 64-bit HP, i7, 8GB.

Hope that everything works fine tomorrow. The fact remains that WB is really flexible and powerfull software.

Just sharing this.

Roger,

Would be interested to know if all is better after a reboot.

Roger, did you download your trial version from the vidblaster site? Random access violations is a built-in protection in cracked versions. If so, you seem to be doing the right tests, but first upgrade to v1.19.

Hi,

Downloaded from Vidblaster site yes. Lisenced version of course, purchased 1 month ago.

Is 1.19 beta? Downloaded binaries from Vidblaster site 1 month ago was 1.17.

Cant find version info from setup binaries. Is file version 2.0.0.31 the latest?

I suggest first reading this board's FAQ so upgrade your forum account. Then check out the Download board :)

Hi,

I have 1.21 beta installed now and got still same "access violation" problem sometimes. Any new ideas how to get rid of it?

Just single installation of VB in one computer...

Any tips more than welcome.

I downloaded the trial version 1.19, and 1.21, tested them and got no problems even on a very slow PC, but my suggestion is to try running the installation as 'Administrator', and see what happens...Sometimes Windows act up on certain setups and PC configurations....I got that problem with another program I was using, even though it was a genuine copy, and that was the fix I got from support...Maybe, just maybe, you could be having a similar problem.....Just wondering, ...to Mike....is this program written for Linux as well?

Roger,
Could you tell me a little more about your setup? You are one of the few I've found that have talked about using 6 cameras. What resolution are you using? Do you know what model of i7 processor you have?
Thanks.
