When bringing in audio out of my mixer into the laptop and then streaming to Ustream through Vidblaster, the VB VU meter keeps peaking. I almost have to turn the level in Vidblaster to nearly off in order to keep this from happening. If I just go through Ustream the audio level doesn't have this problem.

Any ideas what it might be?

I remember Mike mentioning that when you use VB to stream to Ustream (or any streaming site), it only controls the video and the streaming audio comes from your computer's audio source. I think the mixer audio is going to both VB and Ustream. I'm not sure why it's pegging the VB
VU meter.

VidBlaster is showing the actual volume at the hardware level (the input), i.e. it is a good indicator if your signals are right and you are not overmodulating the hardware input. I guess Ustream has a software volume control and inadvertently indicates all is well.
