I must have something messed up somewhere because it seems others have got this working. Here is what I want to do:
Two SD cameras on two Black Magic Intensity Pro cards
One older SD camera on a firewire input.

I do not have three SD cameras , but I do have the one connected to the firewire and it works great in VB.

I have two consumer inexpensive HD cameras, a Sony HDR-CX110 and a Canon Vixia HV-30. In the IP control panel I set the inputs to component and the input processor to convert 1080i to SD letterbox.

Using Flash Media Encoder I can see all three cameras. In FME the settings are 720x486 and frame rate of 29.97 for all three cameras. Clicking on the Video Device Settings brings up the IP dialog listing NTSC 8bit. Everything looks good.

Now to Vid Blaster. I set the global resolution to 720x406 (SD wide) and the frame rate to 30. Both are the closest to what FME reports.
The camera are set to video input of component, video standard of NTSC M and resolution to auto. I see no video. Here is a strange thing when I click info it says 720x576 and 25 fps, which looks like PAL.

I can use vCam, but then I do not have enough CPU for VidBlaster (vCam is at 52% by itself. There are some strange things with vCam, but this is already too long of a post.

Where am I messing up:confused:? I have read in the forums about issues with HD and the IP cards, but all I want is SD.

Mark;
Your probably should begin posting your computer/video configuration in your posts? But, most of all you need to upgrade
to present version to see if it corrects your problems. 1.20 is the current version. Your version was a long, long time ago. SD or HD you need a powerful computer to use VidBlaster at it's best.

I guess to be correct I should have listed the version as 1.20 not 1.2 sorry. to be clear I am using version 1.20 I downloaded yesterday afternoon. I started with 1.17 a week ago, then 1.19 a few days ago and now 1.20. I understand a bleeding edge CPU is needed for HD, but for SD?? However that really is not the issue. Why should I need to run an extra layer of software? I am not blaming any software for my issue, I am sure it is some configuration I have wrong.

I found a work around and have posted this as a bug.
