Dear
I have read all the post about the Easy Cap
( FAQ said only support 1 )
but some said there manage to support 4
but just cannot restart
now I will be ordering my 4 easy cap //
what is the final solution ..
if there any new update on the driver ..
Please help .
I can't give you a latest update, but I can tell you that there is no EasyCap. There are many, all called the same but with totally different drivers (and sometimes casing). Sometimes, but not always, the various versions are distinguished by a revision number. When buying, make sure you have a recent driver that supports Windows 7.

Mike Do u mean that I am dead meat..
I am going to buy it over internet ..
BY the way do anyone really try to connect more than
one easy cap before
I have never tried, I prefer USB2821 and used 4 of them simultaneously. See (http://testing123.podshow.com)one of my latest shows (Test 50, 51 or 52 I believe).

I have read all over the forum
Do u thing .. you can build the easy cap driver in vidblaster ..
I am not such .. ( is my requeast too much )
and for video out
is it only decklink black magic support video out
any cheaper card or not
No, drivers must be made by the hardware manufacturer.
Any video card can be used for video output (see Help). If you have other questions please create a new topic, but do a search first as this particular question was just asked by someone else. Thanks!

Timothy, if you search the forum you will find that there are a number of different makes for cheap video-to-USB capture devices (of which Mike prefers USB2821 which I think is not the brand name, rather the driver info, or?). These are Video In, USB out (into the PC), so NOT video out.
There are mixed reports in using multiple USB capturers. I personally have yet not found a good solution (on laptops) that supports a good mix of resolution/frame rate and multiple capture devices. I believe one issue is the driver (and how Vidblaster uses it). Another issue, I suspect, is if there is enough power in the PC's USB port to drive multiple capture devices. Still working on it...
Mike, in Testing123 show 52 you use three camcorders hooked up via USB. Could yuo tell is which camera/s? I have had problem finding such cameras that support USB out while filming AND to be able to control the cameras settings (zoom, light, etc).
The brand is not important, chipset is. USB2821 is not sold under the EasyCap name AFAIK. Test #52 demos the USB2821, camcorders are hooked u p via composite video. I have had great results with multiple 2821's, but bandwidth is a limitation so I stayed at 320*240.

Mike, my bad. I meant support "video out" (composite or S-VHS, after all this thread is about getting that video in to USB). So, I am still interested in the camera model name.
(And of course, USB out direct would be nice too. My old Sanyo Xacti CG65 does that, but not with the ability to zoom).
I mention it in the video, even show it. Think it is a Sony HC20 or HC30.

Well, I don't have a CSI crew who could analyze #52 in order to find out which they are ;) I'll do a separate thread about cheap controllable camcorders instead.
