I wasn't notified of this nomination so we're already late to the party, but if you feel VidBlaster is your preferred "webcasting solution" then please do vote for it at streamingmedia.com (http://www.streamingmedia.com/ReadersChoice/2010/Vote.aspx) for the Streaming Media Readers' Choice Awards. Voting closes by the end of this month. Thanks!

Went there, but when they ask for my name, adress, e-mail and phone no without a note on their privacy policy or hint on what the categories/nominees are - I left.

Sorry, Mike, it's a protest the Streaming Media Solutions approach - not you or Vidblaster. Which I promote in many other ways.

[Edit: forgot - CONGRATS! to the nomination]

@Richard,

Just use Mike's info. I did. ;)

Just joking, of course.

My vote is in. One more for VidBlaster!

Mike, will you be coming out to Los Angeles if you're one of the top 3 vote getters?

I normally never vote if I need to enter my credentials, but in this case I know the guys behind the company and have been following them for some time. These are a bunch of professionals who have everything to loose if they take any less than professional actions. That said, nothing in life is safe.
Using fake credentials does not work btw, they scan for double votes and all votes need to be confirmed by an email follow up.
For those who voted, thank you. For those who did not (dare), no worries. I don't like flying anyway :)

@Mike, in my view it is not so professional to ask for credentials without stating how they will be used.

But as I trust you, and Love Vidblaster, I threw in a vode (@Tom in my own real name)

Just a few more days for your vote..

done. (this message was too short so had to add something)

Thanks Dan. And yes, annoying isn't it? I vote we shorten that minimum length requirement, or even disable it entirely. A simple "no" is a perfectly valid answer so should be set to 2 max. Daniël, if you're reading this? Thanks :)

lol. (laugh out loud (too short, again!))

Thank you for confirming your vote. We'll announce the winners at a gala reception at Streaming Media West (http://www.streamingmedia.com/Conferences/West2010/) in Los Angeles on November 2. Winners are also featured in the December/January issue of Streaming Media magazine, on StreamingMedia.com, and published in the StreamingMedia Xtra newsletter.

I voted, and I confirmed. Hope VidBlaster wins!!'

Otherwise the three spam e-mail messages I have received from Streaming media so far was not worth it. I DID NOT opt in for those, and I clicked the unsubscribe link in the first e-mail, seems not to help.

In my view Streaming media just take any chance to lure our contact info from us, and then use/sell it heavily. #fail

yes me too, I didn't expect that kind of email from them, somewhat useless information included in the messages also.

Me too. Unsubscribing was easy though.

Did not win Richard, did not even make it to the top 3.
