Hello, my name is Jeff Clayton I live in the New Jersey, USA. I had an idea to provide a service for people who want a daily or weekly show broadcast over the internet. in June of 2008 I started my first company called Tsunami Technologies. I am still in the process of building this company and I came across your VidBlaster software and I am very pleased with the results. When my company gets larger (more then one client) I will be stuck. I cannot do more than one broadcast at one time unless its automated. for example a church. If I manage one church. how can I do the other one down the street as well? I would like to know if you can help me solve this problem so that I can further my business using your software... maybe a plugin? or an external program? or maybe even a feature within the current Vidblaster would help. If your too busy, I can understand that. Just thought Id ask. ;D
Take a look at the attached photoshop picture I made. Maybe it will give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

So you want VidBlaster to go streaming and switch between cameras according to a timer list? How do you solve the fact that VidBlaster does not know what camera to switch to (think a speaker with his audience)? Who turns on the PC and cameras? I am trying to get an idea of the feasibility of your idea. Right now it looks to me like you want a video surveillance program (which is in the works btw :) ).

Hmm... good point.Maybe there can be a camera and player ordering option that skips cameras and players that are empty. ;) the pc's will be on all the time (desktops) cameras will not but thats not a problem... Maybe the vidblaster program can run in the taskbar (for the streaming/recording schedule) once you turn it on it will broadcast/record sermons and then I could do all the editing and archiving the day after... ;D

I thought you wanted to stream live? I wonder if remote control is what you're really looking for.. Let me know when you know exactly what you want and we'll discuss this further. Meanwhile if there's anyone else who needs a feature similar to this, please chime in.

PS: I removed the huge graphic from your signature and changed the title of this topic for better future reference.

Ok let me try and fix this in a structured list manner.

1. I need the program to turn on by it self according to schedule and start streaming live and recording to the hard drive at the same time.
2. I wanted the cameras to have a duration timer e.g. (30sec 2min 3min etc.) Then go to commercial (the media players) Then back to cameras.
3. I need a program with sound and quality with the ability to be used on sites like ustream (building my own) which is why I cannot use security camera software.
4. I have a remote software that I will be using to make any computer changes and upkeep (https://secure.logmein.com/home.asp).
5. The cameras will be turned on in the morning before services begin.
6. I will be editing the recordings on the hard drive with adobe software to finalize it before archiving the show on the churches website.
7. I wanted these features to be optional not on all the time.

Didn't mean to confuse you. ::)
I hope I am more clear this time.

Hi Mike,

I have a simpler version of the same request. Could you add the ability to rotate between cameras or repeat a preprogrammed sequence of switches (for example, camera one for 40 seconds, camera two for 40 seconds, camera one for 40 seconds, camera four for 40 seconds, repeat.)

I have someone that will be using VIDBlaster to produce events with manned cameras, but would also like to be able to lock the cameras off and run the switcher unattended. They want high quality sound and video, and live production capability, so security video will not do it for them.

As I've had no other requests for timer operation, but did get multiple requests for automatic camera switching, that's what I'm working on now.
