Adobe is making their publication, Video Encoding Cookbook and Profile Guidelines for the Adobe Flash Platform, available for free at the site below. It includes some interesting discussions on frame rate, aspect ratio, deinterlacing, CPU proceeing limitations and, of course, the space-time continuum (just joshing,).

Tom,
This is a good find! Should make for some good bedtime reading....:D
Note this does not link to Adobe but the fellows at streamingmedia, who spammed us after the last voting. Probably better to find a direct link.

I forgot about that unfortunate incident. Despite the spamming, I have found Streaming Media to be a good source of information.
I have uploaded this report from Adobe to my website (www.SinclairSportsNetwork.com (http://www.SinclairSportsNetwork.com)) and you can download it directly by right clicking here (http://www.sinclairsportsnetwork.com/Video-Encoding-Cookbook-and-Profile-Guidelines-for-the-Adobe-Flash-Platform.pdf) and selecting "Save Target As."
