I run a live show using VidBlaster Pro which sometimes needs multiple cameras. One camera, my main one, is a Canon GL 2 running through a firewire. The other two are Logitech USB webcams. One is the Logitech Ultra Vision, the other is Logitech 9000.
In order to load VidBlaster in advance of doing an FME broadcast on Ustream, I've found that it is much faster to 'clear' all of the camera modules before closing VidBlaster.
On the next startup, I just go in and choose my cameras in each camera window.
I've found that it is necessary to have all cameras connected and running before launching VidBlaster.
Just my way of doing things. Would love to hear any other suggestions.
