I broadcast a soccer tournament for three days this weekend using VidBlaster Studio (.40 trial) on Ustream.tv.
On Thursday I did not use FME at all, just didn't have time to test it. Just streamed VB directly to Ustream. No problems, but video was a little choppy.
Friday I used FME 2.5 top broadcast on Ustream (with VB, of course) and had noticeable smoother picture.
Saturday, I tried FME 2.5 again and lost my upstream 5 times. Each time I tried to broadcast, I would reduce frame rate and/or upstream speed in FME. Finally I abandoned FME and broadcast VB Studio directly to Ustream with success but choppy picture again.
I was wondering if anyone had good experience with FME 3.0, VB and Ustream. Might an upgrade help? Other comment are welcome as well.
Thanks!
