Hello Mike,
This is fantastic program, thank you for developing it. I would like to use Vidblaster for live events, I use my laptop (very powerful) to run vidblaster and my external monitor feed from my laptop will go to the projector using VGA cable. I know there are so many resolution options that i can pick, but unfortunately non of them display clearly as an external monitor on the screen and that is because of resolution. I was wondering if it is possible at least for the external monitor to be configured in either 800x600pixels, 1024x768 pixels, or 1152x864 pixels and above if possible. This way if i use my out put video (external monitor feed - VGA) to send to projector under one of this resolution it will be clear.

Again, Thank you.

Hi, welcome to the forum!

The resolution used on the external monitor output is set in Windows (or in the utility that comes with the video card). Set that to the desired resolution. VidBlaster will automatically scale its internal video resolution to the external monitor's. Let me know if that helps.

Yes, the external monitor displays correct resolution. but the image from vidblaster gets pixleted (stretched) on external monitor. It seems to me that vidblaster trying to stretch the low resolution video into high resolution screen set up. I was wondering if the video feed to vidblaster can displays on its high resolution uncompressed format to the external monitor. In my computer even the trial logo gets pixeleted on external monitor which has 800x600 pixels set up.
Thank you again for your respond.

There's obviously a rescaling, but it should not be a real problem. It's certainly unavoidable, as you won't find a camera that outputs 800*600.
