View Full Version : [closed] VidBlaster attemtps to load unused TCP module

Earlier I created and used a profile X on a PC running VidBlaster's Broadcast edition. When saved, and finally used, this particular profile did not use the TCP module. Possibly an earlier version of the profile, or a completely other profile previously edited on the same machine, did use the TCP profile.

When I loaded profile X on another machine running the Trial (Studio) edition I got an error message stating that "TCP module... is not supported" in that edition. Well, besides knowing that already, I also knew I was not using the TCP module in the profile.

To nail the thing, I loaded profile X again into the PC with the Broadcast edition and checked that I did not use the TCP module, including moving other modules around to check that no module was hidden behind another.

This happened on 1.27, and I have also found the same error in 1.19 (in which the API module was introduced).

This profile has a TCP Server module, it is at the bottom left of the window (you need to make it bigger first) at vertical position 984.

To overcome this sort of confusion, and frankly to add a perfectly logical command, I added the menu entry Modules | Remove.

This is not only a handy tool to remove modules, but it also gives you a list of all loaded modules in one glance.

Thanks! I'm sorry this was posted as a bug, when it in fact was something else. It turned out that the "Camera 3" issue in another thread (http://forum.vidblaster.com/showthread.php?t=2067) also was caused by the same issue. That is, a module outside the visible window.

Guess this thread can be closed.

In which version or update is this available, I have Pro 1.27 and it is not available in that.
