Hello,
I recently noticed your amazing program and knew it would be awesome to broadcast my pc games in 1280x720 to Justin.tv and it works.. but it has problems picking up directx/3D games i guess you would call it dunno... anyways i'll try to explain as much as i can!
In Unreal Tournament 3 i run it in a window at 1280x720 the capture picks up the menu just fine but when i load a level it stops picking up the screen! I noticed that it will pick it up if i start capturing while already in the level but once it loads a new level it stops picking it up... i also tested it with another game and it did same thing.
Now i know that it most likely wasn't designed for that usage but it would be just amazing if it did work as there is no other program i know of that captures at such high resolution with perfect quality!
If you can make this work for me i would be really happy as i have been looking for a program that can do this for a long long time!
Thanks,
Flapjack
This sounds a lot like a problem that has to do with the way your game uses the video card, most screen capture programs cannot capture graphics that are displayed in DirectX (like video). Initially VidBlaster had the same problem, but I fixed that problem (as obviously capturing video is done quite a lot). Either I missed certain video modes, or there is a problem with your graphics card, or I'm missing the point and this is a completely different problem. All I know is a lot of gamers use VidBlaster to stream live matches, and so far I have not heard of anyone else having this problem.
I know several gamers who visit this forum so invite them to share their knowledge. Meanwhile, try reducing the hardware accelerator setting for your video card as that will also change the way graphics are displayed. Also make sure the game is presented in a window, not full screen (as that often means it sort of leaves Windows entirely). Let me know.

Hmm... i know you probably don't know the answer to this question but i might as well throw it at you!
I'm trying to broadcast my games to Justin.tv at 1280x720 the best video bitrate i could do while being stable is 1600kb... the only downside with that kb is that its not focusing while in motion in feed! I have a 1900kb upload speed.
In this video which shows it not focusing i'm not using your program hence theres no watermark but your program did the exact same thing!
Not Focusing Clip (http://www.justin.tv/clip/d6cdfb5f91ea393a)
Edit: When you make a clip on Justin.tv it automatically puts it in 4:3 but at the time i was broadcasting it was in 16:9.. or atleast it did it for the clip i made
I'm using Adobe Flash Media Encoder 3.0 to stream to Justin.tv

Heres my Rig Info if you want to know

I want to know if theres a way to broadcast with my upload speed to Justin.tv with it in focus!
Thanks,

You should make this a new topic or no one will find your question. What you're seeing is compression btw due to insufficient bandwidth. Either lower your resolution or frame rate (and audio bitrate). I have no experience with your upload bandwidth, but simple math teaches me this.. To stream 320*240*30 in good quality, you need about 300 kbps. 1280*720 is 12 times as much pixels, so would require 3600 kbps. Compression works a lot more complex so you will actually need less than this, but at 1400 you're a long way off. You can also try VP6 (if Justin.tv supports that) and let frame rate drop if there's a higher need for bandwidth (i.e. more motion).
PS: impressed by the quality of the recording, considering this was streamed live.

Alright so i tried vp6 and it was just way to complicated and made it look worse... so i tried 1024x576 and it wasn't as bad but i wanted it better so i'm gonna try 854x480 but i'm having a problem! I'll make a bug report!
