I originally installed the Home/Pro version, tried it out. Then installed Studio. I liked the software, so yesterday bought the Home version. Uninstalled the Studio version, then reinstalled the Home/Pro version. Entered my key, started up.
Everything seems to work, except when I click "Start Streaming" button, nothing happens, clocks doesn't start ticking, no stream is made. I then uninstalled home and reinstalled studio and the streamer works in studio.

I tried installing on another laptop I have, and I can get it to work for me. So is there something that didn't get uninstalled correctly when I unisntalled Studio version that broke the streamer?
Running Vista 64 on a laptop.

No. If you use the uninstall procedure (ie. not manually erase things) everything is properly uninstalled.

Did uninstall. Installed Home version. Stream still doesn't work. But if I run VidBlaster as 'adminstrator' then streaming works.
But I don't have to do that on the other computer or when Studio is installed.
I guess this is good enough work around for now.

That is weird. Let me know if you keep having this problem with future updates.

To answer your question you sent by email (please use the forum): both the latest Home and Pro are very stable and there are no problems with streaming. It is also not related to (un)installing Studio. You say streaming works fine on your other PC, does it also run a 64 bit OS? I have several clients running Home & Pro on 64 bit machines without any problems, but from what little you've told me it's the only thing that stands out.
