With v 1.33 Mike introduced:
Video Effect: if not used, video window updated @ low frame rate and priority, resulting in better overall CPU core load distribution and lower CPU usageI don't really understand how VidBlaster could know if an effect module is used or not, and/or what "unused" means. In any case, I have ran into an issue, not sure if it's a bug.
The problem is that when I have a few effect windows in a chain (e.g. effect 3 is using effect 2 as a source), my video starts flickering if I cut/trans to an effect inside the chain (e.g. effect 2). Selecting effect 3 works fine.
Or at least I think this is the problem, I am not sure. But I am sure that if I use multiple effect modules some of them flicker when selected. Something I guess has to do with the "low frame rate" thing.
I am e-mailing Mike a couple of profiles that have this problem. Tried both profiles on different machines with different graphic cards, same problems on both machines.
Anyone else had this problem? (note, appears in version 1.33)
