Video Capture Not Working

I have a Hauppauge WinTV 418 Video Capture and TV card. I can't seem to receive any channels. I have tested WebCamMax and it works perfectly.

Since this last post I installed VidStudio over VidBlaster and it works but the picture is sliced in half. I see the bottom half from the middle of the screen (there is a green strip that divides the picture) and the the top half is showing from the bottom of my screen.

But get this, I read your instructions for installing VidStudio after I had already installed over VidBlaster. So of course I uninstalled your software and then again installed VidStudio to see if the Video Capture would work correctly.

Nope, its back to a black screen and now when I try to run the video capture in VidStudio it does not work. But when I exit VidStudio and try to watch my tv that is on my computer (I have a TV capture card in my computer) it won't work. I have to go into device manager and remove the drivers and then reinstall the same drivers to get my TV to work.

I did not have this problem with VidBlaster.
