Hi
I am currently streaming live church services over U stream. I have 3 dv cameras connected to my computer using internal firewire cards. When I open vidblaster everything is fine my cpu usage with the 3 cams is under 35% but when I connect to Ustream my usage skyrockets and causes the vidblaster program to start malfunctioning even before I start broadcasting. I was hoping someone could offer some advice on solving this problem.
Thanks Luke

I am not using vidblaster as the audio source. We dont use the camera audio at all. Our audio is mixed through a mixing board then sent to the rear audio input on our on board sound card. When we connect to U stream we select rear audio input as the audio source not vidblaster. In addition to that I dont see anyway to disable audio in vidblaster.

Our problem starts as soon as we connect to ustream, before we even start a broadcast.

The ustream software (flash) uses a lot of resources, nothing you can do about that..

Is there anything you can recommend or are you saying I should pitch the whole deal? It is not functional at this point.

Not sure I understand that remark? I can't change ustream's software if that's what you want? Simplest solution is to buy a faster PC. The new VB Pro will use less resources too (like current VB Studio) so that's a little help too.

Have you tried Stickam.com, they are much better than ustream
