Mike -- Great product and I have been recommending it for all live streaming productions. I used VidBlaster to produce the Indy Racing Weekly show on indycar.com and it was great. I am also using it to produce all live Indianapolis Motor Speedway Press Conferences, shows and possibly the Indianapolis 500.

I am using VidBlaster with FMLE 3.0. I then set up some EC2 instances on Amazon Web Services and Wowza for distribution. A nice inexpensive way to broadcasts to a fairly large audience.

I do have a couple of question/comments. Note --I am not a Productions Engineer but rather an internet guy learning Productions technology. I have plenty of stupid questions!

-- Is there a way to select a no audio source from Video Blaster? The reason I ask is because when using the mic jack (on a laptop), FMLE also needs to select an audio source. What I get is an echo because I believe it is being encoded twice. What I did was select another audio source in VidBlaster then turned the audio all the way down and it worked fine. I may be missing something but was just curious.

-- It would be great to be able to manually type the Input Size instead of preselected choices. I realize it takes more system resources but that is fine.

-- Before I move up to the Studio Version, I will need to figure out if I can plug in a 'router feed' to the encoder and see if VidBlaster Studio will recognize all the camera feeds. I could then use the software to replace the router and have better control of the show. I hope that makes sense.

Again -- Thanks for making a great product.

Thanks for your nice words, and cool to here what you're doing. I would love to see a "behind the scenes" or "making of" of your production!

If you do not want to use audio, simply do not load the audio module (which right now is only possible in the Studio edition but will become available for other editions soon). Not sure what you mean with input size?

Please note this is not the place to ask questions. For feature requests, bug reports or general discussion, please use the same named forums. This makes it easier for others to read up.

Thanks for the information Mike.

If you are ever in Indy during the month of May, I will give you a behind the scenes tour of our online operation and the facility. I am sure you could teach us a number of things which would be great.

Would love that! But it's not likely to happen as I live in the Netherlands.
