Mike,

For those of use that live on the edge with CPU speed, the CPU meter is an effective reminder. But once I'm reminded, it would be helpful if I could reduce the size of the meter so that it doesn't take up so much desktop space. Maybe even minimize it to the task bar like the Task Manger performace meter. There is could still give me real-time CPU usage, but in a smaller space. It would be nice if it didn't pop up again after the first time.

I disagree. You should not use the program at these levels as it will degrade the video quality (delays get higher, frame rates less stable) and there is possible instability of drivers or other running apps. It is there to tell you to fix the problem (see Help for suggestions). When fixed, it goes away.

I agree that the CPU meter indicates a critical low resource situation, but sometimes I find it happends just momentarily, just for a split second. But sometimes that comes at a time when I need to make switch cams or players and I'm visually blocked from doing that.

Not a big deal, though. I can certainly live with it the way it is.

Unless your monitor is too small and you need all space for VidBlaster, the CPU Usage window will (initially) position itself either at the top or at the bottom of the VidBlaster window, making sure it is out of the way.
