After installing Vidblaster 2.04 on my laptop (which has all kind of stuff installed on it) I get this error message: "The program can't start because QTCF.dll is missing from your computer". Vidblaster then continues, and seems to work.

The file exists in my Quicktime installation, but its reference might be missing somewhere; maybe in the system path. A reinstallation/repair of Quicktime solved my problem. It probably hadn't anything to do with 2.04, but that I haven't run Vidblaster on this system since I did a cleanup some weeks ago.

I have a brand new computer with no software installed. I installed vidblaster then installed quicktime. When i launch vidblaster i get the qtcf.dll is missing error. I have reinstalled several times along with running the repair and it's still not working. Any other ideas.

I have never had this problem, but if you google you'll see this is a rather common problem with QuickTime and there are several suggested fixes. Needless to say it is not related to VidBlaster.
