For anyone interested, this is a copy of a webcast test initially streamed via Watershed to test the practicality of running training sessions with "chat window" feedback to the presenter. It features two manned cameras (plus a webcam) in an improvised office studio (so don't blame me for the purple background - I wasn't the designer!). In the last 5 mins or so there's an introduction to the crew and who's doing what, when you get bored with the main presentation...
Why is this called Apple Video?

Why is this called Apple Video?
Because the video production was being done by a company called Apple Video.
Ah. Well then, they're not likely to start using/promoting VidBlaster then :) If they had, they may actually have done real (crude) chroma keying on that purple curtain.

The whole point is that they might start using it, but first they are looking to find some prospective new customers who previously wouldn't have considered using live video, hence I agreed to help them do a test. I certainly think it would have benefitted from more planning (there wasn't even a written Running Order, for example), but if they were to do chroma keying they would use a proper green background and have plenty of experience of using green screen in their conventionally edited videos. I think they are typical of many small production companies I deal with who have a lot of experience in documentary-style video production, non-linear editing and graphics (like their opening/closing titles), but zero experience of live broadcasts, so have quite a lot to learn in that area. If the cost of entry isn't too high, and they can find new markets for live broadcasting, then they will buy the kit and add it to their list of services.
