Up until now I've only streamed out to FME, was playing around to see how WMV streaming worked, but haven't gotten far.
Is the WMV streaming built into vidblaster push or pull?
I assumed it was push, but the all I have from my streaming server is server name and publishing point which I enter into vidblaster, but vidblaster wants a username and password, of which I'm using neither. So I can't currently stream.
Also how do you change the encoding (bitrate, etc) settings?
Push. If you're not sure about your server, use these (http://www.streamwebtown.com/index.php)guys for free testing.
All settings are on auto right now, haven't had any requests to make them settable.

I have had similar issues. I have a paid streaming account with Edgecast and they provide me with server and publishing point. No username and password is required. I have tried from windows media encoder 9 and it woirks great without username password.. but VidBlaster wontr let me go ahead without entering those. Can I do something?
What if you enter a space for both, does it work then?

YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
single empty space in both username and pswd worked like magic! Superior!!!
Now I just have to figure out why my other 64bit PC doesn't recognize the virtual video device... :-\
Mike/Tom: Pls consider this an official request to make the bitrate settings customizable! In a low bandwidth country like India, I gotta do a ton of tweaking for bitrates before I am happy (primarily the only reason I was using WMEnc9 to stream out VidB's output)

Mine (I5/win7/64bit) does this as well, have not found a fix.

I have an i7/win7/64bit setup that ALSO doesn't detect the VVD under Windows Media Encoder. But my XP Box (x32) works just fine. I wonder if it's some way it's being registered differently for x32 versus x64?
I did however get the VVD to work in FME with no problems.
