Very nice. Although I know nothing about snooker (my son does so I'll have to show him this) I am sure this will make life much easier for those wanting to broadcast snooker events. I am certainly looking forward to their feedback.

With this entire new look I am starting to realize the API (with/without other software) does not only allow us to remote control VidBlaster from other (completely different) devices, it also is a way to create an entirely new User Interface for the program. This is getting more and more interesting!

This takes me back...
Just for the record I wrote a snooker scoring app 20years ago for ITV Sport in the UK, using an Amiga to control an Aston 4. The main graphics operators made up a special font with images of all the coloured balls with different numbers on them so that it could do things like show the "break" stats as a semi-graphical set of balls with the number of each one potted appearing on the ball. It also produced stats for the commentators (like the "maximum points left on the table", "snookers needed to win", etc) and printed out a log of each game with timings of when each scoring event took place, in order to help the VT editors put together the highlights. It was the first in the UK to have such remote-controlled features, as everyone else (eg BBC) were still using their cap-gens manually, although the following year they revamped their's too. On the big tournaments I was called on to be an extra operator so I got to know snooker, and the players of the time, quite well!

Well that takes me back as well, lived in St:Helens in the early 80:s, one of my favorite programs on the telly was Snooker games...maybe your system was doing it tricks:)
