To Mike and the other VidBlaster gurus

I'm trying to figure out how to do moving graphics that overlay the camera image on the screen.

Like a company logo that scrolls across the screen. Or like a logo that spins in from top left and enlarges as it spins in, but is trasparent and allows the camera image to show.

I can't do a PNG image in the Player. If I could, I thingk I could use the Auto Switcher to display a series of PNG files that would appear to move.

I haven't been able to figure out how to do an animated GIF.

Any ideas any body?

so you mean transitions or an element?

Will VB support an animated gif as an overlay?

Ex. a shot clock in the corner?

Not yet.

I have encountered the same problem and found a workaround.

I used a player with a count down timer on video and had that play in a PIP resized and moved to top left screeen. Wasn't the best solution but it game me a "quick and dirty" game clock.

Could do the same for a shot clock. 25 seconds? Set the player to play on take, then just click the player to start the clock.
