I am going to be producing a series of webinars that will be hosted live using the webex service. I am worried about production values and would like to be able to use at least two cameras, three would be better, to perform cuts, etc., but this would be done live. NO post-production since this would be shot just like a live television program. The upper limits of what webex could handle as far as video and sound quality are of course severely limited. Could vidblaster help us in this endeavor?
I am having trouble finding what I need, hardware and software, between the cheap home user stuff and the professional quality stuff used for regular television video.

Yes, this is a piece of cake using VidBlaster. Regarding extra hardware the possibilities are endless and range from simple camcorders hooked up to the cheap EasyCap interface to professional video cameras and a Quad Osprey card. If you'd like to assemble a setup yourself and learn along the way, there is a lot of information already on the forum, and I'm sure some people are willing to help you as they've gone through the same process. If you're not interested figuring this all out, contact one of my resellers and have them provide (or even install, I know that's one of VidBlasterUS's services) everything. The choice is yours.
Looks like a piece of cake, but I can't find my cake. I am using Microsoft Live Meeting webinar software and when I select VidBlaster I get the whole control screen. Can't figure out how to just import the output of the switcher. Any thoughts. I'm guessing it's simple but I can't find it.
You want the output of VidBlaster to go to live meeting? Use the Streamer (Virtual Video Device) and select VidBlaster in live meeting.
Mike,
That's the scary thing. That's exactly what I have done -- over and over again. Each time, I get the entire Vidblaster program, switcher and all. This interconnection is EXTREMELY important to me. Any suggestions? Is there something I should ask the techs at Live Meeting that would be helpful. Thanks for your thoughts.
I'm not familiar with live meeting but it sounds like you're doing screen capture of the VidBlaster window? You need to select a camera, and pick VidBlaster there. Maybe someone else who is familiar with live meeting can help?
OK.I worked through that. The picture jerks a bit, even with 30fps set. My fastest computer is a dual AMD 4600+ 2.41 Ghz and 2G ram. What do you think? Too slow?
That depends on many things. Check the system requirements.
