Here's my setup:

1. Windows Vista 32
2. MacBook running under Boot Camp
3. Device Manager shows no question mark and Windows reports device driver is latest and no update needed
4. Camcorder connected via FireWire (and works fine on Mac side with iMovie) and shows up in Device List
5. VidBlaster Studio Trial v0.47
6. Nothing in Camera 1 preview window or Preview when pressing either Cut or Take.

Let me know what I'm doing wrong. :o

Maybe this is an HDV camera? If so, switch to DV as HDV is not supported (yet). See various posts (http://vidblaster.com/forum/index.php?topic=286.0)on the forum. If not, maybe wrong video input or mode selection? If not either, the camera must not support the selected video resolution.

PS: topic moved to Hardware.

OK, setting to DV worked, thanks heaps!

But I do want to record in a higher resolution, how can I do that? Does Studio support the AVCHD standard?

Thanks again. :)
