You should work to integrate VidBlaster to use the FME API so that users do not need to load FME. This would allow you to push the stream straight to ustream, stickam etc without loading FME.

With the Tricaster I do not have to even load FME, I just click stream video all is needed from a users perspecting is the RTMP address and the channel code.

Todd, do you remember if you only had to enter your Ustream login to set everything up in tricaster, or do you had to use their xml file (once) to get the proper data (like the url)?

This has been implemented in v1.01.

It would be really great to also be able to stream FLV to any flv-server, not just the added ones.
A similar setup with server settings as the one you use for streaming wmv would be perfect!

Thanks,

Johan

Would you happen to have a flash server at hand I can use for testing this? :)

But of course I happen to have... ;)

I will set you up on an account and PM you the details as soon it's been setup.

Johan

This is great! I haven't tried it yet but it should reduce the amount of computer resources since FME doesn't have to be running. Is this correct?
