When I started showing a very crude and young (0.0) version of VidBlaster to some tv directors, some 5 years ago, there was one who immediately saw the educational potential of the program. He was teaching video production at schools and said he could easily see students using VidBlaster to learn the art of (live) video production. Because of the software solution, it would not only allow more students hands on experience, it would also save the school money. Boy was he right. Five years later and a significant part of my sales is going to educational institutions, from elementary schools to universities. Considering the feedback I get, it seems to be a success indeed. Not only do they come back for more licenses, I have also been getting requests for different licenses, educational discounts, courseware and recently even if I can provide certificates so a school can hire a "VidBlaster certified teacher".
Although part of me has always wanted to become a teacher, and I would love to dive into this whole new market, I realize that my place is in development of VidBlaster. Without it, the rest would not exist.
What I really would want is to work with a company that specializes in selling software to educational licenses, preferably with knowledge of VidBlaster and live video production, or at least the will to skill some employees in this. Your job would be to create and offer educational packages, help develop and sell educational licenses and provide means for teachers to become certified. If you're interested send me an email and we'll discuss this further. If you first want to ask some more questions, feel free to do so here or, if you are not yet licensed, create a topic in the General Support board.
