I wanted to start this post with "Wow, what a fantastic year this has been!", but then I saw that's how I started last year. Let me just say this has been another terrific year. I just cannot believe how well things work out as planned.. When I started developing VidBlaster, now exactly 5 years ago, I had this whole roadmap in my mind how things would progress and what kind of people would use it. True, I made a few slight adjustments in the first year but after that everything came true. More and more professional users start to appreciate what VidBlaster can do for them. I lost count of how many national tv stations use VidBlaster in some way, and entire companies have been build on VidBlaster. That's something that can make me proud, that I actually bring an income to people. Meanwhile sales have been doubling each year, allowing me to continue working on VidBlaster full time and introduce more cool stuff and make improvements.
For me personally it's been a great your too. The appreciation (http://vidblaster.com/testimonials) I get from clients, the many people who help me writing blog (http://vidblaster.com/blog-dp1.html) posts, wiki (http://wiki.vidblaster.com) articles or provide feedback is frankly astonishing. If you visit the forum regularly you must have noticed it often looks more like a country club of enthusiasts with a common hobby, than a commercial support forum.
I can only wish things remain as they are and 2012 will be as great as this year. I want to thank everyone who helped make this such a wonderful year, and wish you all a fun filled, healthy and profitable 2012.

Merry Christmas!

Mike
