[closed] Black overlay text disappears

When I chose black as the font color in combination with an overlay graphic, the overlay text disappears. All other colors (green, yellow, white etc.) are visible on the screen, except for black.

Actually, it also happens with other darker colors. I think it has to do with the way VB merges the text and the video image. It doesn't do a proper overlay, but some kind of additive/Xor blend of the image and the overlay. Which makes darker colors disappear on most backgrounds.

I cannot reproduce this, tried dark grey and dark blue on several backgrounds. Perhaps this is related to the graphics you use (please attach one, preferably with a screen shot and colour number of the text) and your brand, model and driver version of your graphics card. Also let me know the current bit depth setting of your video card.
