Hi,
What is the difference between the home and pro versions? Was the video demo showing the home or pro versions. Does this handle HD clips? Can it translate formats? Between which? Thanks in advance for your help.

All the best,
Ted Sudol

Differences are explained in the help file (home vs pro vs studio). All versions support format translations and HD.

I know this topic is old but rather than make a new I am going to use this. On the home version does the stream, audio and program count as a module against the 7 you can have? I don't use the program so that is no big deal but since you need the stream module that should not count as one of the seven. Basically buying the home version is a lot of cash for me. Right now I use 3 camera, 1 player, 3 overlays, stream, audio so I am past the home version :-\

Each module is counted as a module. If you need more than 7, Pro is the way to go as it will give you 25.

I think you should look into the stream module not counting. I mean what good is the program if you can't hit the "start" button?

Sorry. I agree with Mike. We donīt use the streaming module that often. Some use the program only to record. Some to output to an external monitor. The real beauty of this program is the true modular approach.

Yea and Mike needs to eat... as everybody else ;-)

If we want more modules we need to pay for it... I dont make direct money of my VidBlaster use as of to day...

But VidBlaster helps me to show off what I and the company I work at - what we have to offer as our core business...
(The core business is IT not video, but video is a cheap advertising...)

I know people use VidBlaster to Home use, but then you might not be able to use all the functions and as many modules as
we that have Pro or Studio...

That brings up another point. The record module should be a freebie too. I mean what good is a program if you cannot hit record or stream?
