Hi Mike,
My name is Greg, and I have joined your forum specifically to post this message to you:
"I truly believe Vidblaster is the best piece of software ever written!"
You can quote me on that!
I use Photoshop and Premiere Pro for a living, and have always thought that the Adobe tools set the bar height, but Vidblaster delivers something that they do not, Immediate Gratification! Within 3 minutes of installing on my laptop I was overlaying text and images over the feed from it's built in camera, and within ten minutes I was streaming myself, and my own desktop to UStream!
Then I started working in some avi's I have, and within 30 minutes, I was producing (IMHO) broadcast quality content with transitions and overlays the likes of which would take a considerable amount of time to achieve in Premier Pro, ON THE FLY!
But here is the TRULY incredible part! I use a Macbook!
Running XP in Bootcamp, I have not only been able to utilise the Macbooks built in camera, but all of a sudden that ugly 10 year old logitec golf ball lookin camera is of use again, and so is the 640x480 pinhole camera I bought at radio shack. I dragged out the old Pinnacle Dazzle, and that works too!
