For some reason every time I start the program the modules Lock up. I can still switch modules with the keypad but cant do anything with the mouse. I cant close out the program unless i do a force shut down from task manager. I have 3 cameras running 1 effect module , Recorder , streamer and Audio. I also have a Vidblaster Pro.
Are you saying this is new to 1.07, i.e. 1.06 does not show this problem with the exact (!) same hardware, configuration and profile? Or have you always had this problem?

Try removing all modules and clearing your profile. Then exit VB and restart VB. Add modules as needed. That should get you back where you belong.
Good luck.

I have had this happen in the past with previous Versions ( 1.02-1.05) but it wasn't as common of a problem as it is now. It would happen once in a while but I would be able to tell as soon as I started the program that the modules were locked . But now with 1.07 It will happen in the middle of my stream. I have tried to see how often it does it but I can not find a pattern. To be honest I cant remember if 1.06 had this issue but I know that all the previous ones did. I lost my show on Thursday because it locked in the middle of my stream and gave me a error message ( I wish I remember the message) and I had to close it down .

What are the specs on your PC?

AMD Phenom II x4 940 3.01Ghz
12 gigs ram
Nvidia gtx 260
700 gig hard drive
vista 64 sp2
The system is running ay 70-75 % CPU Usage so its fine on that end. It actually Just did it again I had to stop my 3 hour stream because I couldn't do anything on it . This is becoming a issue because I lost another Show that I was recording
I also had this problem on my older machine that was a AMD athlon 64 5600 with 8 gigs ( I got the new system because it was too slow to run vidblaster the way I needed it to work)

Try this the next time it locks during a stream. use you keyboard "tab" key and highlight one of the modules you are trying to switch (you will see one of the controls go light gray) and then hit the space bar. This might give you mouse control back.
Do you lose "all" mouse control or just left button? This sound similar to the problem I was having intermittently. Try the "space bar" trick, it might save you from losing a show that way.
I have mentioned this before but in case you missed it: 75% is too high for some drivers, as it means there are peaks into 100%. Some drivers are so poorly designed that they either stop working briefly (resulting in sync loss or hickups) or stop working at all (lockup or crash), which obviously influences the rest of the program. You can easily confirm this by lowering CPU usage and see if the problem goes away.

I put this into consideration I tested the video and Audio this morning with 1 camera and the system was at 31- 40% and I had it lock up on me again. Im going to go back down to 1.06 because this issue was less common
That's fine, maybe the problem will go away by itself ::)

I'm going to try this on the current issue that sometimes pops up which has VB still working, yet won't give me any mouse inputs. I've not attempted to "free" VB with the Space Bar trick.
Mike had tried to help me pinpoint the program with the "locks" or "freezes". To me it always seemed like a dialog box was open but I couldn't see it and it wouldn't give me input on the main VB window. I RARELY have this error, but it typically requires me to restart VB during the show.
I'll let you know how it goes.
