Hi Mike,

as I told you on email yesterday, I can't capture from Sony Z7 and Z5 HDV using firewire or Decklink Intensity. When the camera is pluged on any firewire ports ( I have 12 in PC) Windows Vista recognises the cam. VidBlaster too! In the context menu right cliking on camera window I can see the options:

Sony HVR-Z7U
Decklink
IP Camera
screen capture

But no image apears. No matter if change !080i 30, 1080p 30, 1080p 24, etc. Same thing occurs with blackmagic. Vidblaster recognises the board but when the same cameras are pluged on HDMi port no images on camera windows. I checked my drivers, reinstaled Vidblaster, tried to capture with the same cameras and boards over Premiere Pro CS4 and Blackmagic's Media Express and all stuff works fine. I get stunning images and cuts over 4 cameras and superimpose and video efects only if Z7 and Z5 cam units are working in DV 720 x 480 30 fps progressive or interlaced. Anybody have an idea?
Thanks and happy new 2010 for all!

make sure you have the latest drivers for the devices. 64bit or 32b?

There are already several topics, including an (old) bug report, for the Decklink cards so please ignore that question. HDV not working is new to me, been working fine for me since it was introduced. Anyone else having problem with HDV using v1.09?

HDV only works in HD modes, set video resolution to 720 or 1080p.

I will see if I can change this so it will also work in lower resolutions (even though it would be better to use DV in those cases).
