Playback in Program Window

I think a nice feature to have is playing back a recorded video in the Program window in addition to the Record window. Currently, playing back your video only displays in the Record window and I keep expecting to see it in the larger window. To avoid confusion as to what's being displayed, a small "Playback" (or something similar) could be displayed in the corner of the Program window.

What does everyone else think?

And: what happens if you're streaming live? Would the playback be streamed, or would you only borrow the Program monitor while the streaming program continues unaltered?

What I've learned from the professionals is that Program IS what's being recorded, projected, displayed, streamed and/or broadcast. So if playback of a recording is displayed in Program, that means it's going out into the world, meaning it behaves like a player. That's why I did not include it, as it's not logical. I do however miss it's not displayed in the bigger Program monitor, so what I usually do is save the recording and load it in a player.

My thought is the Program window would show what's going out to the world except when you're playing back what you recorded. The Program window would have an indication that it's playing back the recorded video (displays "playback" or "recorded"). If you're streaming and playing back the recording at the same time (I'm not sure why you would do that), the Program window would still show what you're streaming (and the playback would not be streamed).

You could load the recorded video into a player to view it but it's more convenient to display it in the Program window when being played as long as you indicate that it's a recording and not live. The other advantage is you don't have to save it to a file to play it back. Sometimes I want to review what was recorded before saving it to see if I need to re-record it. Seeing it in a larger window helps make that decision.
