[done] Can Instant Replay be an Effect?

Streaming soccer tonight. Made extensive use of instant replay from three separate cameras. One general cam (the "field" cam), one close-up cam, and one cam behind a goal. It was awesome!

Since soccer has no time outs, it's tough to work the replay of a great play into a broadcast unless there is a pause in the action right after the play.

It would be nice to run the replay in a Video Effect module with the replay in the main screen and the live action in a PiP. That way you can see the replay and keep up with the live action on the field, too.

Good idea. Wish they had that idea when broadcasting the world championship football (soccer for you) as I regularly missed some action when they were doing a replay..

From v1.22 the video effect modules support the new pin system so they'll automatically detect any module that outputs video, and offer that as source. This means not only Video Replay modules are supported as source, but also Preview and Program. (You'll get interesting feedback effects if you select a video effect module for program or preview, and use it as source too.)
