It still shows Svideo ... But note the quality of the HDMI coming from a Camera is really bad. I tried it with two cameras and the Black Magic card def looks alot better

I've actually had some good success with this card. Here's a broadcast I did last Thursday with the Avermedia as the primary capture device. I'm not at home so I can't check my driver version and such, but as far as I know it is the latest (non-beta) and I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Just a warning, it's not unusual for our commentators to use some strong/vulgar language so if you are offended by such things watch with caution. I try to get people to keep it clean but it's still a work in progress:

http://www.ustream.tv/channel/dojostats/v3 <-- We've got it replaying on the page and it actually shows up in 16x9, so it's more what it looked like when it was actually broadcasting.

I'm using the Avermedia to bring HDMI @ 720p from an X-Box 360 that is going through a Monoprice 1x4 HDMI Splitter (2 TVs, and the Capture device). Then using Vidblaster (Home Edition) to add Player Name overlays and streaming to a virtual video device which I then output to uStream using Adobe FMLE. I use that rather than Vidblaster's built in functionality because I have more control over the bitrate/quality and I have found that I also get higher quality with lower CPU usage that way. I don't have Vidblaster outputting sound either, as the capture device is quick enough that I have the commentary/game sounds going through a mixer and then into the input on my soundcard, which is what I output to the stream.

Stream was @ 640x360 running at 30fps. I think it came out quite well.

Glad to see you using VB Danny! Can you tell me what version of VB you're running and the version of the drivers. I do exactly what you do but I have SOME issues with certain 720p inputs... one of them being the 360. I've had great luck with taking a PC signal and a PS3 so I'm curious if new versions of both would help me out.

Using v1.19 beta (Home License) right now and the Avermedia Drivers are:

Driver Date: 3/22/2010
Driver Version: 1.12.64.22

ANd I believe I am using the latest version of the Avermedia Center.

In order to get the feed to show up in VidBlaster - I have to open VidBlaster, select the right feed (Avermedia Analog Capture #2) and open up the Avermedia Center program and select TV and then HDMI input. This doesn't open it in the AVermedia Center program, but seems to "tune" the card to the hdmi input and should then show up in VidBlaster (Takes 10-15 seconds usually).

It's strange you need to do it that way.

I actually have a slight issue though, VidBlaster seems to see the input as 4:3 rather than 16:9, so I have to correct the aspect ratio which seems to stretch the image. It looks OK - but for games with more text/etc it is almost unreadable. I am not sure if this is an issue with VidBlaster or with the Avermedia software itself though.
