Default HD capture for 20 dollars? EnVivo VHS to DVD Maker..

As an extremely low cost (20 US$) way to capture HD this might be worth looking into. It's being offered by a European supermarket chain and claims to capture 1080i and besides the usual inputs also accepts component. So far I have not been able to find the manufacturer of this device nor other outlets.
